Sooo, after getting squee'd at, I felt like doing some improvised cosplay, 'cause, knowing me, the real thing will take a while...
I possibly hate this picture (because augh flash, you don't see the hour of make-up effort and the hair is all out of whack already, plus I didn't have any fitting clothes...), but it's still the best I got out of my measly camera tonight. There is one picture I reasonably like on my mobile phone, but I can't transfer it right now...anyway, I hope you like it.
Young!Ebrelle, 'cause I don't think Nul makes you vain. He had to be like that before, too.

There's just something utterly charming about improv cosplay.
THE EYEBROW, IT IS KILLING ME WITH PERFECT. XD
I am the bridge-jumping friend your parents warned you about.
*blush* Uhm, thanks? Plzdon'tdie. XD
"There's just something utterly charming about improv cosplay" Yes, indeed. Oh, wow,
~Lyn, also full of squee!

Browsed around a little and made a peacock-playlist.
Also, I tried and there doesn't seem to be a drop-down menu thingie for posting new threads and choosing their location...
That impro cosplay is perfect for young Ebrelle! Before he got his wardrobe properly in order (his preferred manner of dress doesn't fit with the accepted Xaillyndesse means of self-expression, and he was also an angsty, opinionated, rebellious teenager) it was pretty likely that Ebrelle posed in front of his mirror draped in his own blankets, looking for the perfect style. x3 And practicing proper haughtiness.
And yes, he's always been vain, and a showoff.
Also, I watched a couple of those videos when looking for inspiration for Ebrellin-i's peacocks that defend his throne. The peacock vs turkey especially.
*snicker*
I had fun with it. And I have another few ideas I could try with the young version. Have to ask my favourite photographer if she's willing to take a few pictures...
No good wigs on ebay T_T I'll either have to restyle/-knit a sailor pluto wig or dye one without bangs...all are either too short, too bright or have BANGS...or all of those things.

I can recommend this place for wig dye and wig-related supplies and links: http://www.pettingzoowigs.com/wigs.html
Also, she's a really nice person and I fervently enjoyed her Oasis Destiny graphic novel.
EDIT: Katie's websites are really out of date. Check around her forums and stuff to make sure she's still uh, breathing. ._.;;
Ah, I know that site. There are less expensive options for dye, though, esp. when you live in another country.
Hmm, what colour is Faun's hair anyway? Blond-ish? Brown? Fox-red?
He has sandy light brown hair. Like a faun (deer) if it got really dusty. I usually draw it a little redder than it is because I like to use reddish shadows in my art.
So...he has fawn coloured hair?
I just went through the first 25 chapters again trying to find out and couldn't. But I did get to read the first 25 chapters again and to become confused about everyone's geneaology again so won't complain.
Yeah, we give out the confusion for free here, because we love you guys.
Dirty fawn, lol. Now I'm staring at a googleton of pretty fawn pictures and can't stop...
So, in one of the more recent chapters, inner Ebrelle has bright green eyes. Is that colour a representation of that 'last bit of green' within him or did he have green eyes before Nul got hold of him?
Also, was Eletes hair always this slightly-shorter-than-shoulder lenght he has in most/all of the illustrations? Or did he have longer hair (not as insanely long as Ebrelle's, I guess) at some point?
Mr. Pretty the Poet King has always kept his hair somewhere around shoulder-length. There was one period of time he let it grow out a bit more than usual, but other than that, he was pretty careful to keep it right at that Fuck-My-Family length. X3
(Before anyone gets all pedantic on me and points out that Xen has EVEN SHORTER hair and HE'S a Xailyndesse -- remember that Xen and Calyx and their ilk are "lesser" Xaillyndessen, and don't have to adhere to archaic standards of Better Than Thou Beauty.)
As for Ebrelle... you know how oil floating on water is really pretty and rainbow-y? ^_^
I am the bridge-jumping friend your parents warned you about.
Elete's hair was even shorter as a child, because it showed he was someone's property. A teeny bit more filled-out than Xen's, but still proper british schoolboy length.
Hmmhmhmmmm, that makes sense.
Well yes, I kind of guessed the rainbows were not natural, but were his eyes GREEN before? Like, intense deep green?
Ah, you know I'll probably pester you until I know a lot of visual and other details not quite mentioned before about a bunch of characters? I'm a sucker for details like that...
*still scrounging ebay for olllld boar hides and stuff*
So I was at Castlefest, NL, this weekend, which is about the most awesome pagan music&art festival EVER (Like, redheaded poets and nature spirits EVERYWHERE), and aside from one of my favourite bands (called Faun) playing a song called 'Faun' which totally fit YOUR Faun (and now I can't find the video again even though I totally wanted to show it to you), it was an event of incredible costumery.
At some booths, I finally found the last remaining ingredients for the Faun costume and improvised myself some animism photos XD.
It's very improvised, since I had no sewing implements there and the rest of the stuff for the costume was still at home, but I like it anyway. Even though I felt way plain, compared to all the other crazy people.

WOW. You have the facial expression DOWN.
That's amazing for improcosplay. *_*
Hehe, thank YOU for inspiring this stuff. Will do the proper costume soonish, now that I have everything I need for it.
GLEE. I am dancing around like a happy monkey. :D
