As I was doing a reread the other day, I realized how much all of the (ahem, more difficult) names tripped me up at first, and then how I had sort of internalized my own imagined pronunciation of them to make reading. (Of course, then I ran one of them past one of the authors, and she told me I was waaay off. Heh.)
So, how do you pronounce the names in your head, when you're reading? (Note, below are simply my own imaginings. Save the first one, I haven't actually asked on any of them.)

Carry on. :3

I... I never can pronounce things right, unless I know the word already. Only thing I can get off right off the bat is Japanese. And sometimes French.
Astra non mentiuntur, sed astrologi bene mentiuntur de astris - The stars never lie, but the astrologers lie about the stars.
I make puns. I'm sorry.
I also make chibis. A lot of them. I don't know why.
That's ironic because French at least is infamously hard to pronounce.
Nothing? Nothing? NOTHING? Nothing, tra la la?
-Jereth (David Bowie), "The Labyrinth"
I get corrected once or twice and then I can normally get it. But I'm getting it somewhat enough that I can get words right off the bat at restaurants.

I took ballet for three years and I still can't even pronounce a lot of French words I come across. Except for 'bourgeois'. Because that one's just fun to say, lol...
Ok, I'll join in the fun (or make a fool of myself).

Dammit Irk now I'm picturing Gerald as played by Geraldo Rivera and I don't think I'll ever be able to write him again. AUGH.

I can just image Gerald's coverage of the war in Iraq. x3;
Lyric is a relation to Alice in Wonderland!
Being that before he left he felt that he was no good at poetry (i.e. writing) and admits he is not adept at music. Since a raven is like a writing desk in that they both have bills and tales (tails), and Lyric deffinately has both, plus the notes produced by both bird and desk are not considered to be musical notes, Lyric ravens and writing desks are all related!
Nothing? Nothing? NOTHING? Nothing, tra la la?

This has to be one of my favorite comments ever. OMG, Kashi. LOL!
